Chrysolis exists to help you relate the story of Jesus to all of life, so that you can help others become convinced of his truth, beauty and relevance. They have two main aspects to their work:
1) Chrysolis Academy: A training program tailored to the needs of your church or organization, which develops your staff and volunteers into more engaging and persuasive communicators of the Jesus story.
2) Chrysolis Projects: Unique events we help you develop for your local context as a way of better connecting with people who wouldn’t normally consider Jesus in their search for life’s meaning.
Chrysolis was founded in the UK and its scope is global. They are happy to travel anywhere, though they intend to focus much of their energy on post-communist Central and Eastern Europe.
LUKE CAWLEY – Director of Chrysolis
Luke Cawley is a writer, speaker and trainer. He’s drawn to the places where fresh things are happening and has overseen the founding of numerous new missional communities. Previously a staff member with two national movements of IFES, Luke helped start Chrysolis in 2012, with a vision to enable organizations and churches to better communicate the Jesus story. He has an MA in Evangelism & Leadership from Wheaton College in Illinois, and a CTPS in Christian Apologetics from Oxford University. He also holds a BA (honors) in English Literature from Cardiff University.
Luke is a regular speaker at conferences and outreach events in various countries, a member of the Fellowship of Evangelists in the Universities of Europe (FEUER) and an associate evangelist of Luis Palau’s Next Generation Alliance. He is also a former newspaper columnist who now writes primarily on issues of Christian mission and apologetics.
Luke was a classmate of Todd Warner, founder of Catalyze, Inc. and actually assisted as a professor in one of his classes – “Global Apologetics.” Since then, Luke and Todd have become friends and communicate to each other regularly. If you are looking to support someone whom is sold out for Christ and His Kingdom, is getting his hands dirty daily, and is working to spread the gospel and transform lives in some of the toughest locations on the planet, then Luke and Chrysolis are for you. Catalyze, Inc. financially supports Luke and his organization for just those reasons.
His first book, The Myth of the Non-Christian: Engaging Atheists, Nominal Christians, and the Spiritual but not Religious, is scheduled to be published by InterVarsity Press in March 2016.
