Books Studied

Todd Warner, Books Read & Studied, 2015

CHRISTIAN-RELATED BOOKS COMPLETED & STUDIED OVER THE PAST 11 YEARS SINCE MY CONVERSION (Listed in order by last name of author):

Prior to my conversion to Christianity and rebirth through the Holy Spirit, I despised reading.  About the only things I had ever read were school assignments, magazines, the newspaper, Star Wars (of which I had already seen the movies), and Tarzan.  I simply didn’t understand how people could enjoy doing something so boring and slow paced.  After my conversion this changed dramatically.  One of the real sudden and tangible changes was that I suddenly couldn’t stop reading anything pertaining to Christ and Christianity!

This obvious change has significantly elevated my faith. It is truly amazing and has convinced me that the Holy Spirit transformed my mind and heart – from a hate of reading to a love for reading and an unquenchable desire to continuously learn for Christ.  A desire that continues today as I continue to dive into new books with passion and curiosity.  Listed are many of the books that have influenced my spiritual formation.

This list does not include hundreds of other articles, books, or DVDs that I have used to meet my Holy Spirit induced thirst for learning since my conversion, transformation, and salvation.  Of course, the ultimate book and authority that all others must be measured against is the Holy Bible, which I read and study continuously.
